A little over a month ago, a Drake interview with Rolling Stone Magazine emerged where he allegedly made some very bold statements about Macklemore’s response to Kendrick Lamar after winning the grammy, specifically how “wack” it was. He also spoke on Kanye West’s Yeezus Album, saying “There was some real questionable bars on [his Yeezus album]. Like that ‘swaghili’ line? Come on, man. Even Fabolous wouldn’t say some s–t like that.”
Additionally, he spoke on Jay-Z’s recent releases. “It’s like Hov can’t drop bars these days without at least four art references. I would love to collect [art] at some point, but I think the whole rap/art world thing is getting kind of corny.” Of course, once the interview was released, he backpedalled.
I'm done doing interviews for magazines. I just want to give my music to the people. That's the only way my message gets across accurately.

Despite his denial that the statements were true, Jay-Z definitely heard them loud and clear and in a “Freestyle” on Soulja Boys “We Made It,” which he recorded with his Roc Nation signee, Jay Electronica, he responded. Listen below. Let me know what you think.
